intel core i7 3770 & asus maximus VIII hero motherboard

hi
am thinking to buy new motherboard ( Asus Maximus VIII Hero) and i have an intel core i 7 3770, and am asking is it going to work in the new motherboard or not?
and What type of RAM dose it support, and what type of PIN ( example: 288-pin DIMM)?
hope some one help me

Hi,
Not working (different LGA).
For 3770 you need LGA 1155 boards.

alexiou is correct, you will need a LGA 1151 processor + DDR4 memory in order for it to be compatible with the Maximus VIII Hero Motherboard.
