im try to build new pc but i lost after search for best pc parts and best performance and best price

at least i have now 2 builds and i want to know what is the best for performance and for the time that the pc will stay up in future

then this the first build

1) intel i7 6700

cpu : intel i7-6700k

motherboard : gigabyte g1 gaming ga-z170x-gaming

gpu : not sure which one ( msi r9 390 8gb or msi gtx 970

power supply : evga 100-b1-0600-kr 80 plus bronze (600w)

ram : g.skill ripjaws v series 32gb (16x2) 288 - pin DDR4 3200 (pc4 24600) it is good with my build or what ?

ssd 240gb

cpu cooling : corsair hydro series g50 120mm

and this worth about 1250$
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

and this

intel i5 6600k

2) intel

cpu : intel iintel 6600k

motherboard : gigabyte g1 gaming ga-z170x-gaming

gpu : not sure which one ( msi r9 390 8gb or msi gtx 970

power supply : evga 100-b1-0600-kr 80 plus bronze (600w) or if i need more tell me plz

ram : g.skill ripjaws v series 16gb (18x2) 288 - pin DDR4 2133

ssd 240gb

cpu cooling : corsair hydro series g50 120mm

worth about 1050$+

so i need to know is there a big different to go with i7 and add 200$ or just go with i5 ?

i want a pc for (gaming , making games , maybe recording )

i was look for budget but now look for the best one that will stay up with the new games for some years and for the best performance

Solution
Overclocking or not? If your budget is 1150 you can get a much better pc for the value depending if you overclock or not. A higher PSU will be needed for both builds. A B1 is lowish quality and not recommended. Quality is more important than wattage.

A water cooler probably is not needed. Also a better graphics card can be made with those changes.

There is no need for 32GB of RAM if you are gaming and even editing.

If you are not overclocking this CPU will perform as fast as an i7. (All the Xeon is a i7 without overclocking abilities and much cheaper)

If you want to overclock this will work great: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wf7VdC
However I would recommend the first build.

If you are gaming and don't plan on overclocking, an i5 6500 will be more than enough. It is a significantly cheaper than the unlocked chips in your list. If you don't need thunderbolt 3, you could also probably step down your motherboard, to an H170 or B150 board, maybe even an H110 board if you find one that meets your requirements.

If you do plan to overclock, the i5-6600k is the obvious next step up and your choice of motherboard would fit a lot better.

Overclocking is the process of increasing the clock, or speed of your processor. It effectively makes your processor faster. But, there are drawbacks if done incorrectly it can leasd to system instability. and even when done correctly, results in greater strain and wear on the processor.

I recommend watching "Overclocking as Fast as Possible": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPmDSYRKnXM

Overall, the as fast as possible series is a great resource for starting out with a first pc build.

1) intel i7 6700 ***My Thoughts***

cpu : intel i7-6700k *** You could drop in a 6600k to save a few bucks ***

motherboard : gigabyte g1 gaming ga-z170x-gaming ***Mobos are almost personal preference depending on what bells/whistles you want. If you are going to OC make sure it has quality mofset/capacitors.***

gpu : not sure which one ( msi r9 390 8gb or msi gtx 970 ***wait for the GTX 1070***

power supply : evga 100-b1-0600-kr 80 plus bronze (600w) ***Go go for the EVGA SuperNOVA P2 instead ***

ram : g.skill ripjaws v series 32gb (16x2) 288 - pin DDR4 3200 (pc4 24600) ***You only need 16 GB - speed is fine***

ssd 240gb ***If you are only using the SSD as a boot drive with another device for storage, you could go with a 128 GB. If this is your only drive, I'd go a bigger ***

cpu cooling : corsair hydro series g50 120mm ***That's fine***

I feel as if the Hyper 212 EVO is unnecessary, I believe the E5-1240 comes with a stock cooler. It makes no sense to buy an aftermarket cooler if you are not overclocking.

Depending on timeline of the build, a GTX 1070, when the AIB partner boards hit the market, might be better a better option than a 980.

what do u think about this build just waste of money or not ?

cpu : intel i7-6700k

motherboard : gigabyte g1 gaming ga-z170x-gaming

gpu : gtx 980 msi 4gb

power supply : evga 200-g2-0550-y1 80 plus gold ?

ram : g.skill ripjaws v series 16 gb ddr4 ( 3000)

ssd 240gb

cpu cooling : corsair hydro series g50 120mm

or is there any better choice im really now looking for best performance pc and i dont think i will get the 1080 gpu atm

so do u think this build will be the best or there is a better choose

and if theres a better choose i will only looking for a lower money price with the same of this performance as i say i dont think iwill upgrade it for 2 years at least so i want a pc will stay up for that time or more :D

so this not budget pc build is it good ? and worth the 1350$ or not ?

Waste of money is decided by your use case. That system is great if you plan on overclocking and have a mixed workload, gaming and cpu intensive applications. I might step up the H50 cooler to an H80 or higher or switch to air cooling like in IntelTurtleFan's overclocking recommendation. The cost/performance is similar enough and the h50 will be more of a hassle than air coolers. The motherboard may be overkill for your needs, especially if you don't plan on heavy overclocking and large SLI setups, but motherboard choice is really dependent on exactly which features you care about so I will refrain from making recommendations there.

If you are not overclocking but have a mixed workload, I would step down the cpu to an i7 6700 (not K) and a cheaper motherboard or as IntelTurtleFan Recommended, a Xeon E5-1240 V5 (Which is pretty much the same chip) and the motherboard he recommended w/ that.

If you are only planning on gaming, a 6th gen i5 will suit you fine for the next couple years, and you could save a good amount of money by stepping down.
