Can this device store any data that it transfered from one hard drive to another? Transferred data is sensitive.

Solution
Just a guess here, I am sure someone with more knowledge than me will chime in. I assume the device has some RAM to buffer the data going from one drive to another so some data will be "stored" in the RAM, but once the device is powered off, the RAM will lose its data.
