Hey guys, I just wanted to tell people of a very good deal I found online. The original price was $300, but I got it for &250. The deal included a PC, a 22'' LED Samsung Full HD monitor, and a mouse/keyboard. I was originally going to build my own PC, but after I saw this, I couldn't resist! (Using it now) The specs for the PC are: CPU: Intel i5 2500k (Quad Core) GPU: ASUS GTX 750 Ti Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V LX Memory: 8GB DDR4 Case: Don't know name but good Thermaltake Case with many fans Storage: 1 TB Hard Drive. PSU: 750 watt ( PC Power and cooling) Optical Drive: Samsung Optical Drive Benchmarks: (1080p) GTA V, High: Around 60 fps Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Normal: around 50 fps. What do you guys think of this deal? Rip off or golden find?

You can overclock with anything. The rules are always the same. Too much heat is bad. Too much Vcore is bad.
If you overclock with a stock cooler or with a cheap motherboard (I have done both), you can't go as fast, but you still get an overclock and save the cost of the cooler and expensive mobo
+1 great deal:

the Intel i5 2500k can be easily overclocked to 4.2 with stock cooler with no bump in voltage.
If you have a c1 version, with an aftermarket cooler you can hit 4.6 - 5 ghz, minimal voltage bump and run around 60 degrees : great for gaming.

Yes, but should I even overcolck with a stock cooler? Also I want to upgrade the GPU as well as add an SSD, which I hope will increase performance. What cheap aftermarket cooler do you recommend?

uhhhhhh hmmmm PC power & cooling is not a bad brand at all....depending on the model, you probably snagged a great deal on that as well. what PSU model did you get exactly?

why would you assume that? one of those "glass half empty" kind of people then i suppose....everything else seems to be well sorted out so i see no reason it would also be a crappy PSU.
