Would I notice much of a difference upgrading from a FX-6200 OC to 4.22 to a FX-8350? If so, how much of a FPS boost can I expect?

Most games only use 4 cores. You already have 6. Adding 2 more is likely to make no difference to your gaming experience.
My son has a Phenom II Quad core at 4Ghz. My Intel i5 quad core CPU benchmarks twice as fast as his when also running at the same 4GHz speed.
AMD per core performance has not improved much since the Phenom II
To get a better gaming experience, you need more powerful cores, not more cores. That means changing to intel

I understand that Intel is the superior processor, but what i need to know is if Bulldozer to Piledriver is worth the jump or should I just stick with my 6200 for now.

I found a really nice deal on the 8350, just to use temporarily until Zen comes out. From there I'm gonna decide whether I go with the new Zen or Skylake. I Just wanted a little better performance for now. Guess I'll wait.

This question was asked a number of times on this forum and each time the answer was that it probably wouldn't be worth the cost for the minor improvement.

Here's a video someone made about performance with these 2 chips with a GTX 980: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dLYPs41guM
It includes Witcher 3 so pretty current stuff.

Here's one with a 6300 vs 8350. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koiBqmZ2VpE

Doesn't seem worth it to me, but it's your decision.

Thanks, but the video is for a FX-6300 which has different architecture and the forum posts don't put my overclock into account. But, like I said, I guess I'll just hold tight and wait.
