Hi everyone....I'm a noob here planning to build his first gaming PC, I wonder if these parts are good enough. I dont have the budget right now but I'm going to buy them one at a time(every payday maybe).

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A
CPU cooler: Corsair H75 Hydro Series CPU Cooler
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB Dual 1866 CL9
Storage(SSD): Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD
Storage(HDD): Seagate 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Sata
GPU : Zotac GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 256Bit
Case : NZXT Phantom 410
Power Supply: Seasonic M12II-620 EVO 620W 80Plus

Looks good ;) The Corsair cooler is a bit of wasted money as a 212 EVO or H7 air cooler will cool better and at about half the price. But overall a good build, should be happy with it

I wouldn't agree with the above in terms of a 212 evo cooling better. After using a 212 evo for a good year and a half, which was a great heatsink, I recently switched to a H75 Hydro for a change and noticed my temps are a good 7-8c lower than before on heavy stress testing and about a 10c difference while gaming. I got to a stable 4.4ghz with my 4690k on a 212 evo which is good for an air cooler. Now at a stable 4.5ghz and the room to overclock further on the H75. And it'll help with overclocking your chip really well, which is why I think you went for the K series :)

Looks good! Good luck with your build :)

tough choice for me man, but if what you're saying is true then I wouldn't mind buying the H75 as I basically want my rig as neat as possible. thanks man!

One thing I will say is do a lot of research. Find guides on building your PC for the first time, applying thermal paste, how to seat the heatsink (in this case Corsairs tutorial on fitting the H75 Hydro which can be found here. Look into airflow configuration and wire management too.

Good luck!

I say wait for the 1070 to launch, then buy the graphics card.
Also i +1 the cooler master 212 or the cryorig H7. You can get comparable cooling for way less money. Entry leveled liquid coolers are not that better then good air coolers that justifies the premium you pay.
I would buy the 212 or the H7, buy another 120mm fan like the sickleflow for push pull configuration and save some money. You can up your SSD to a samsung 850 EVO 250GB with the saved money.
