Building First Gaming PC, need some help on the software.

So all my parts have finally arrived and I am going to be building it sometime this week. After watching a ton of build guilds I am not at all scared of installing the hardware but I am extremely scared of installing the software and screwing something up.

So basically I am looking for your guys help in terms of what I need to do and it what order.

Right now I am at:
Format usb for installing windows, then get windows installer on the usb drive
Install windows 10
Install Ethernet drivers from usb
Install motherboard updates
Install gpu drivers

And that is all I have right now. Is there anything missing or is anything in the wrong order?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dont worry, its fairly easy, , Most USB drives are very slow, Burn the ISO to a DVD may be a better option, then all you have to do is insert the disc and boot up. once Windows is installed you then use discs that come with motherboard, or use windows update or download latest drivers from sites.
Then install GPU drivers.

If you want to be ultra prepared yes you can put all on USB just incase.
But I don't think you will need them.

The Hard part, is fitting the hardware, and connecting it up. Not hard as such but you have to take your time with it, don't rush.

Don't take this the wrong way, kyle, but if you have watched a 'ton of build guides' surely at least one of these took you through the complete set-up procedure.

Google Casey Holzman - he has many videos and some videos take you right through the procedure of building and activating the system. I am 77 (no prior build experience whatsoever) and I built my first desktop PC in Feb 2014 following his video (Not sure if it was the 2013 one) as I went along - step by step. By coincidence I had the same components, too. Browse his videos and you'll stand a good chance of finding what you want.

I'm not sure if there are any sticky guides here in Tom's Hardware but there are also build guides in Partpicker. Take your time and do use Google. Building is fun and satisfying.

Maybe some of the other threads below can help.
