So, one day I switched the HDMI cable from one monitor to another, and sudenly the GPU stopped outputing any image.

I have a:
Asus Maximus Hero VIII
Gigabyte 980 G1 Gaming
6700k

I have changed cables, tried another monitor, double checked the PSU cables, removed card, etc.
If I force the computer to use the integrated graphics, I have display. And if I connect the gtx 980, it shows it is connected, drivers are ok, power is ok... pretty much everything is ok.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Solution
Try the alternate port type first. It is conceivable that the HDMI port is the issue. Have you updated your video drivers lately (like right before this happened)?

Thank you for the reply
It's a corsair rm650i.
And nothing is overclocked. It's basically brand new.

I have no more cables right now, but I intend to try the other ports tomorrow.
Also going to try another gpu, hopefully.
