Phanteks PH-TC14PE Questions

I'm upgrading from a 212 evo and was looking at the Noctua NH-D14, but saw that the Phanteks PH-TC14PE matched my case aesthetics better and had very slightly better performance. However, one concern is the sound level because I've heard that the NH-D14 is very quiet and the Phanteks PH-TC14PE is louder, but what does that mean? Do any of you have experience with the cooler?

Also, my 212 evo, while gaming, forces me to put a headset on because of the sound level. However, this is coming from an FX-8350 and I will be upgrading to an I7-6700k. So will it be a lot quieter with the 6700k?

And does it come with two or three fans? Does the third fan affect performance? And can the fans all be connected to one cable to save fan headers?

Solution
Phanteks PH-TC14PE is better than the D14 cooling wise , by just a little , and the fans are a little louder but not much at all , comes with 2 fans.

LPX should be fine. There is a decent amount of room , and you can mount the fan a tad higher on the heatsink.
