Greetings gentleman!
So I had my PC for about 2 and a half years now....and never did it lag at games such as CS:GO,TF2,CoD BOII etc...
but now, for about a week now, my computer seems to overheat very quickly, and games lag, I mean....even CS:GO started running on less then 20 FPS!but when I restart the PC, the lags are gone!...Now, I have cleaned my PC 3 days ago, and hoped this won't happen again, but no luck there, the games still lag until I restart my PC,after which they run very smooth.
Does this means my computer is just getting old and I should build a new one? or perhaps there is a problem with something else?

Every answer is appreciated!

Solution
Although it may be worth it to try to fix this machine, I recommend upgrading every two years to keep up with current generation products. I would recommend just building a new one. Got a budget in mind?

Have you checked to see if your RAM is still seated right?
Have you done a scan for viruses and malware?
Check and see what processes are running in the background while you game and check your startup programs too.

I am currently in high school, so working is a bit of a problem, especially since I have been shelled with tests lately....but I might be able to get my parents to give me about 1000$ for a new PC, do you think that I can build a decent machine with that budget?

That's a really good budget. I just built a really powerful machine for 1100.00. A slightly less powerful GPU would put you well under what I built mine for.
