Hello,

Looking at my PC and it will be my first build. I'm going to get an i7 6700k CPU and was considering getting a H105 or H100i all in one cooler, but I've not convinced about get a liquid cooler. Forgetting about the performance pluses for now, I would possible go for a heatsink.

I'm not planning on OC'in the CPU to start with and would get a H100i or H105 when I do OC the CPU. but to start with I think I would get the Cooler Master RR-H6V2-13PK-R1 Hyper 612 ver.2 cooler.

Would this be advisable for the 6700k without an OC? or would there be a better heatsink to use instead?

Case will be a H440 and an ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard as well :D

Thanks,

James

So, if you're going to get H100i or H105 down the road no matter what, you might as well get it now, unless you want to have the Hyper 612 as a back up.

well since a basic intel stock cooler will work just fine without an OC i really see no reason why a better one wouldnt? you'll be able to OC the cpu with that cooler you picked out so i think its kind of a weird question.

yes i know this but it doesnt change my point that an intel stock cooler WILL work just fine. that's why i didn't say the intel stock cooler it comes with will work just fine.
