I want to push my SLI 980 ti's to the limit but youtube videos dont really show much. What should I do? How much can I increase the clock speeds and voltages and such?

Solution

A generally good practice is to increase your memory and core clock speeds gradually testing with something like valley benchmark or passmark every increase, to test for stability. Most cards are safe up to around 90 degrees, however close you want to push it to that is up to you. Eventually something will crash while testing, at this point it is likely that the memory was the part that crashed but it could have been either, when this happens you can A) Increase voltage which also decreases the lifetime of the card or B) Lower clock speeds to where it wont crash...

You can also search for a thread on over clocking your model of graphics card to see what other people have gotten. Here's a general thread for 980Ti's : https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/3bc3gg/980_ti_overclock_thread/
