Custom Cooling CPU Best choice?...

I am building my friend a custom PC for lower to mid level gaming. No through-the-roof extreme overclocking rigs or bench-marking god, just a good gaming PC. I will be water cooling his CPU because I do plan to possibly overclock it a little for him...not by much though. because of his fair budget, we have decided AMD...though we are waiting until AMD releases their new CPU series before making purchase but either way, most Water Cooling kjits are compatible. At this moment, we were set on an FX-8350. (If you feel this is a bad idea, please email me at mikerizzi97@gmail.com and not on this thread). Below are all the different options I have looked at. The top of the list is what I believe is the best option, and so forth. Please remember as well, he does not plan to expand the cooling...so a one time installation.

List:
1.) EK-XLC Predator 360 (incl. QDC)
2.) Corsair H115i
3.) Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate
4.) Cooler Master Nepton 240M
5.) Corsair H110i
6.) Kraken X61 Matte Black

Please tell me your opinions or if I should go with something that is not even on this list. Again, only the CPU, nothing more will ever happen in terms of cooling.

My personal feeling is that water cooling a mid-level gaming rig is a misplaced use of dollars. Good air coolers at half the price can still achieve good overclocking results....freeing you up to spend more money on the CPU/GPU itself.

Locked processors, in addition to not needing fancy cooling, can also offer substantially better results in certain price categories.

This for instance (with stock cooling and speeds):

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($239.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($62.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $302.97

Would absolutely trounce this, even if overclocked:

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($147.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($119.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme6 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($103.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $371.86

(((badly, I might add)))

As you can see from my signature, you can overclock an i5 with the STOCK COOLER and a budget motherboard - provided you are careful and know what you are doing.
For AMD you need serious cooling because the CPU is so inefficient - it wastes a lot of power and produces a lot of heat.
IDK why people still buy AMD
