Ok so I've wanted to build a new rig for quite some time now cause I'm tired of using a calculator for a computer and i wanted to for some help or suggestions for what parts i should use, my basis will be the GTX 1080 and i wanted to what would be the best parts for it.

Solution
If you'd like I made a complete overkill build, $3000, includes 2x GTX 1080's, 5930k (Chose it over 5920k for it's extra pci lanes), 500gb 850 pro, 2tb wd black, corsair h100i, phanteks enthoo luxe (change color or case if you wish), 32gb gskil trident z ram, evga 850w p2 PSU. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BzYMf7

total cost 1100 minus the video card/1080. this is as good as it gets when it comes down to gaming, change to your liking if you want such as going to a pci slot ssd such as the intel 750 but in my opinion its way to expensive to be worth the price, the 850 evo will do you quite well, put your OS and games and other applications on it and the extra 2 TB hard drive for mass storage of photos/movies/music/kill lists and such.

Heh, these are the most fun. Everything but the kitchen sink! Add $35 for the H7, and $50 if you want the 1080 Founder's Edition.

if you have all that money for a pc why not get a better psu with a higher wattage for more cards what if the 1080 ti uses a lot of power

The G2's a great unit too...I happen to be partial to Corsair RMx/RMi and wasn't looking in that wattage range, but that's a darn good sale.

yeah the 1300w is also good for a 170$ sale the 1600w is 315$ and in my opinion a waste for that money
