For some reason when I enable SLI my second monitor doesn't work when each of my 2 display ports are connected to each card. But when I connect both of my display ports to one card (my first card) my dual monitors work with SLI enabled. Will this cause any problems or issues considering 2 display ports are connected to one GPU?
Is it bad if I connect both of my monitor's display ports to my 1st graphics card?

That will not cause any issues and is the way many users connect. At one point multi gpu use to disable the second cards outputs, but I am not sure if it still does(sure sounds like it does).
