hello

upgraded my system from amd A10-5800k, to a x4 860k and GTX 950 combo and now all I get is black screen.

Installation process:
1) uninstalled amd drivers
2) old cpu out
3) 860k in, cooler on
4) 950 in, clicked, power added with 6+2 pin
5) monitor this plugged straght into GPU, instead of motherboard

and it starts, all fans spins, no beeps if there should be any.
Everything worked before.

I tried:
1) clearing CMOS
2) power button trick
3) disabling integrated graphics from BIOS and in priority device I have NB or SB PCIE, wasnt sure which one I need, so tried NB PCIE

I tried switching old cpu back with no GPU and monitor plugged on board again, everything works as im able to post this now :)

gigabyte F2A88XM-HD3
corsair VS450
x4 860k
gtx 950 xtremegaming
8 gb ram

Any ideas?
Thanks

Likely you have to update your BIOS. With your old APU Back in, update the BIOS to the latest version. Then your system should recognize the 860k when you put it back in.

No, you have to use the correct version. Check the lower left corner of your motherboard, the revision number should be printed on there.
