I am thinking of ordering a used DELL T7500 motherboard from ebay. But there seems to
be different versions. I have identified 3 different boards that go by the numbers 6FW8P,
D881F and M1GJ6.
Is there anyone who knows the difference between these boards. Is this something I have to
pay attention to? I am concerned because for T5500 board, depending on what revision it
is, it does not accept Xeon 56XX cpus.
I want to eventually upgrad my cpu with the T7500, starting with Xeon 5650 and later upgrading to Xeon 5690. I don't want to be stuck with a board that is not compatible here.
