Computer crashes when gaming, turns self back on after 15 minutesq

Hey guys,

For the past few months my computer has been crashing in the middle of gaming sessions (some times after 15 minutes sometimes after 2 hours) and I'm unable to turn it back on until it starts itself back up around 10-20 minutes later.

I have no idea why this is happening, I re-installed my GPU drivers as well as moving some things around in my case to get better air flow.

Any advice would be great.

Specs:
Intel i7 3.7ghz (I think that was the amount of ghz)
16 gb Ram
Thermaltake 1000w PSU
AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 390

Thanks for the reply,

Is there any software you can recommend to monitor GPU heat and possibly log it after a crash?

It just completely shuts off, no warning at all. Then it wont turn on no matter what I do until 10 minutes later it turns itself back on. I have a feeling it may not be temps as my case is super cool.

I have been monitoring my temps prior to crashes and they never reach anywhere near those levels, I think the highest temp was around 65c. What would your next guess be?
