Does someone want to explain to me why an overclocked CPU gives me more frames?
I thought that only the GPU was making the frames.
Also can someone explain Tflops ? :D

Solution
Well, it depends on what you're playing.
There's a number of things going on during a computer game.
The GPU draws the things going on.
But the CPU calculates what is going on.

So what you are playing has a lot of things going on in the CPU field; Calculating . . . position, action, speed, physics, anything A.I. related etc, you might be running into CPU limitations.
Now, the things being calculated might not be in your field of vision: GPU doesn't have to draw anything: So there's no GPU problems.

Im using a intel core i7 4770k and a gtx 970
If I overclock my cpu from 3.5 to 4.2ghz I see much higher frame rates in all the games I play.
Batman: arkham city
CS:GO
Diablo 3
Fifa 16
and more
Do you think my cpu is getting limitations?
