very strange. my windows 10 pc has just had a geforce 560 inserted. the card was, and still works in the win7 pc it came out of. its sufficiently powered, all lights and fans go when the w10 pc is on
the first time the Win10 and geforce560 was switched on i was still using the onboard to get the drivers installed first. this happened auto thanks to windows update. sure enough it finished and i rebooted, but no signal from the 560.
ok, so i go back into w10 with the onboard and there is no sign of the 560 in device manager. if i try to install the latest drivers from nvidea, it just says there is no hardware detected and fails.
So, the card def works.
Its powered from a 750W PSU on an asus MB. plugged into the pcie16 slot
ive updated to the latest bios and chipset drivers
ive got two differnet screens, neither work with the 560
now i am really scratchin my old head. any ideas would be more than welcome
