I moved to Japan now and using 1Gbps internet at home.

My network setup :
- Modem is of course 1Gbps
- Wireless router (Buffalo wzr-300hp) is connected to Modem by CAT 5e cable
- My PC is connected to Wireless router by CAT 7 cable (im not using wifi when gaming)

The problem is :
- Local Area Connection Status is showing 1.0 Gbps of speed
- I check with Speedtest, and result is ~105 Mbps
- I try to download a file from my GG drive, and the speed is ~12 MBps (~100Mbps)

What i tried :
- I tried to change Speed&Duplex of my adapter to 1Gbps full duplex, but cannot find this setting in the menu (currently is Autonegotiation)
- Upgrade my adapter (Atheros AR8161/8165) to 2.1.0.21, but nothing changed

My OS is Win7 64 bit, my PC is Lenovo Y580. Sorry for my bad English, but please help me, what will i do to get my speed up to 1Gbps ?

Update :
- GG Drive is Google Drive
- Yes, i have a 1Gbps internet (i PAY money for this service, so 100% sure), the modem (received from Internet Provider) has the 1 Gigabit port, its connect to the router by CAT 5e cable by that port, and my router's LAN port is support 1Gbps connection. My PC connect to router by that LAN port.

The weird thing is why Local Area Connection Status is showing 1.0 Gbps of speed but when i downloading files or test at Speedtest, i'm only received 100Mbps speed.

Solution
I'm showing that router has a max speed of about 181Mb/s. Even though 100Mb is quite a bit less, you will definitely not be able to get to 1Gb/s with that router. Try by-passing the router and seeing how fast you are then.
