Random GPU Drivers stop responding after CPU upgrade.

Hi folks, it's bee an extremely long time since I have had to ask anything on these forums, but I was hoping someone could shed some light on my current situation.

I recently upgraded my CPU from the G4400 to the i5 6400 (find full PC specs below). This is the only change I have made with the system and I have ran into what seem to be GPU driver issues.

System:
i5 6400
MSI H170 Gaming M3
FuryX 16GB 2133Mhz DDR4
GTX 580 1.5GB
120GB Integral Performance Series SSD
500GB WD Temp Storage Drive
Corsair VS550
Windows 10

I have tried to reinstall the latest drivers for my GPU, and running a Heaven GPU test for around 30-40 mins, I had no display driver crashes. However, when I try to play World of Warcraft, I will get this error message every 20 mins or so.

I am just wondering if rolling back my drivers to the last non 'Game Ready' driver would work, or if we think this is more of a CPU issue, if so, what sort of tests should I perform to test this?

Here is a picture of what happens after the crash, after which if I reload the UI, it goes back to normal:

All help is appreciated.

Thanks, Camron.

Alrighty then. Everything was going great, until maybe 2 or 3 mins ago, when again, it said the display drivers have stopped working.

I'm starting to think I only have a couple more options here.
1. Deal with it until I have the money to buy a new GPU and see if my GPU was to blame, she is getting old after all.
2. Roll back the drivers to the last non 'Game Ready' driver that was stable. I installed my new CPU around the time Nvidia released a Game Ready driver for DOOM, and since I wanted to play that, I obviously installed it to try help with performance.

Other than the above options, I'm not sure what I can do, I will be building the missus a new Skylake system soon, but it wont be for a few months, so won't be able to test...

That's not actually a bad idea, haven't felt the need until now to be honest. I will update and run some games to test, World of Warcraft seems to be the only one with the issue, but then it is the most CPU bound game I play.

So, after updating my BIOS, I have put a little time in to the game that was having the issue, and it seemed fine after about an hour or so. Will have another burn in later, see how it goes, and if all is well, then you fixed my issue :)

Will let you know how it is in a little while.
