My boot drive is also used as storage even tho i have an own drive for that

So i installed windows on my new ssd via USB. Fore some reason the programs on my original drive was not whiped. But my pc don't seem to register that i have all the drivers an prgrams already installed. Why did everything not get wiped? And How can i make ssd a boot drive only and the hdd as storage only? And why is the programs and drivers on the hdd not usable?

OK...

Your OS was originally on the HDD?
Then you installed the OS on the SSD?

Correct?

The applications and drivers need to be installed again, with the new OS on the SSD.
The applications can be installed on whatever drive you choose, but where they are currently, those applications will not work.

Yeah. So inned to delete everything on the hdd because the programs there are no longer usebale. And then install everything on that drive. IS that what you mean?
