I am attempting to remove QuickTime 7 from a lab computer. When I try to remove the program from Programs and Features, I am presented with the following error message:

"QuickTime 7 requires that your computer is running Windows Vista or Windows 7."

When I click okay, the removal process is aborted. I have been able to remove QuickTime from all the other computers of the exact same model and spec, including their image. This one machine is being difficult.

On a side note, the original Script that was part of a larger update that was run on these machines, put out an error on this one machine when it called for the removal of QuickTime through WMIC:
"Error:
Description = Not Found"

I am not sure if this issue is related.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

That would go against the approved software list for my company. Plus it seems to be a deeper rooted issue than just a 3rd party removal tool would address.

Thank you for the suggestion though.
