Hello, I have an i3 4150, 8 gb of ram and gtx 960, my motherboard is a h81m-ds2.my power supply is a corsair cx600 w 80+

My question is if I can put a i5 4690k? I don't will use the OC function.

Because in the store only have the 4690k, 4590 and 4460, what of this cpu is most recommended for me? I'm use the pc for gaming.

Thanks.

Solution
If you're not going to overclock, avoid the 'K' models. There is an extra premium on these CPU's and if you won't be overclocking it will be a waste. A 4590 is the fastest non-K in the i5 lineup, but there's not a huge performance difference between the 4590 and the 4460. If you want to save some money, go with the 4460.

I'd go with the 4590 considering that you don't care to OC and the difference is 0.2ghz (200mhz), which will have no noticeable difference in performance. Plus the price difference. Now if the prices between the 4590 and 4690k are within $40, it might be worth it.

I'd go with the 4590, you'll probably need a BIOS update regardless of which of those three CPUs you choose.

Edit:
Looks like that motherboard came out after those haswell refresh CPUs, so you dont need any update at all, just slap the new CPU and you're good to go.
