I've been upgrading my computer for the past 3 years. So I have an above average knowledge on PC building. Recently, I've installed all my hardware into a new case, the NZXT Noctis 450 (B/R). The case has a optional fan hub behind the back panel. I love the idea of being able to plug in all my fans into a single area, however, (obviously) the fan speeds cannot be controlled. So now I have six case fans spinning at 100% speed. This is obviously loud. My question is, is it possible to control the fan speed through the fan hub? I would imagine it would involve limiting the voltage to the hub, but I have no idea how to do this. If you can help, could you post a link to whatever component i'll need to purchase? The case fans I'm using are 3x Corsair AF120, x1 Corsair AF140, and 2x Corsair SP140.

Solution
Maybe not an answer to your question. Just as you I had very noisy fans that were running at 100%. To solve this I used a program called Speedfan. This program lets you control what speed you want on your fans or just let it handle it automatically which will control the rpm based on the heat of the component. Hope this helps.
