Hi folks.

My Asus X-79 De Luxe dit not longer working with Asus Ai Suite using OS Windows 10. Asus support telling me, they did not longer support MB for upgrade of Ai Sute (many tools, as Fan Expert) under OS 10. Solution was rolling back to Win7, OR bay NEW MB, like Asus X-99. To my self, I thin it's "overkill" to bay new MB, just of the little case, to take fan speed Conrail for CPU fan. I was reading about version of Microsoft .Net working under OS Win10. I could be a solution to roll back to the Win7 OS system version. I think the task of this change was to big.

I was try out Speed fan, latest ver., not working. Monitoring of probe are ok, but setting of CPU, fan RPM did not take effect after re-booting.

BIOS, do also try to change BIOS setting for CUP fan, from Auto, to manual. No change. The CPU temp (in) are 38-43 C, CPU usage are from 12 to 80 %. When running Win7 64 bits OS, no fan noise even CPU usage was 80 %, thanks to my Corsair H90 water cooler, controlled by Ai Suite tools. This noise level are so high, it's annoying me to running crazy.

So please give me any type of hint for a solution, before went to be crazy in my head/ear :)

As Asus support have stated if you don't want to shell out money for a new board that has official support from Asus and Microsoft with AI Suite then you should downgrade to the last known OS that will enable use of AI Suite. If not then you're going to have to get that new board. One other thing you could do is get a fan controller for about half the price of your board...? ~100USD. Lamptron FC 5 v2 which will be capable of running all the fans you're working with.

One other thing to ask would be, what is your full system's specs inclusive of your fan layout?

Have you tried installing AI Suite in compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Tab>Windows 7 [from drop down menu]
