Had an issue where my desktop crashed and Windows wouldn't launch. I did fresh install of Windows 7 and got all the updates as far as I can tell and everything is stable. I have an AMD R9 270x and when install the latest AMD crimson drivers for 7 I restart like it ask and then it crashes again this time with a BSOD. It did a system restore to the point where amd wasn't installed and stable again. Any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking an updated 10 might help. Maybe it's bad optimization on AMD's end on Windows 7.

Solution

within the last year i have actually had more driver issues with nvidia, as well as more people having issues with nvidia cards. as for op install the catalyst drivers instead

It's mainly used for gaming so I might make the move to 10. I'll try the older catalyst drivers first to see if it's stable then in Windows 7. Thank you for the help
