Constant FPS problems in most online games.

I am getting really bad FPS in a lot of the games I play. Most notably Heroes of the Storm and League of Legends. Heroes I've pretty much given up on, they've notoriously had issues. But I'm not sure about League of Legends, my roommate plays and he doesn't have issues so I doubt it's our internet but I feel like my PC should be powerful enough to run it.

AMD FX-4200 Quad-Core 3.3GHz
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 8GB
Corsair 600w CPU
AMD Radeon R9 390

I honestly don't know. Someone was telling me it's because of my processor but I'm not sure. I would appreciate anything that could help, it's getting really annoying.

The FX-4200 is a giant bottleneck, upgrade your CPU to something like an FX-8350. The reason for your low fps is solely BECAUSE of your processor, it's a lot weaker than my current one, which is still only "okay" in terms of gaming (X4 860k)

Test you cpu usage, temp.
Check if you got enough ram. So on. But that cpu should get upgraded if you got the money tbh.

Try changing thermal paste first
