ok, so after 12 hours of trying to get my brand new pc to post i made a horrifying discovery. While putting in the cpu i forgot to lift the arm on the socket and destroyed 2 pins on the cpu. But during all the testing the gpu didnt once turn on. So my question is, would a damaged cpu prevent my graphics card from starting, or could my gpu be malfunctioning? Sorry for rambling haha, this is one of the most frustrating days ive ever had.
Will gpu and gpu fans turn on if cpu is damaged?
