If anything with a 6pin PCIe power connector was "fine" we wouldn't have horror stories of lemon PSUs that catch fire and explode! Not everything is "going to be fine", some unrated units work fine for a while, others just don't work at all, and some will actually break if you go anywhere near their rated specs (especially with high transient cards like Maxwell chips).

Eric, you can try out the PSU and see if it works (it certainly might work), but personally I would suggest you not take the risk since unreviewed units from uncommon brands have a higher risk of breaking your other components.

I've been experienced with these kind of PSUs, they can run low power cards like the 950. They're very bad, but Yeah, there has been some horror stories about fire and all that, there is a chance...

I changed my mind, I don't think my experience will help. Just. Don't. Run it.
