hello guys,

2 days before i cleaned my pc of dust and just removed graphics card to clean the PC., i also changed the thermal paste on cpu and removed the bios battery and put all of them back in after cleaning( cpu was not removed while cleaning, neither any of the ram).

after putting all of them back in ,i tried to start the pc but the pc wont boot up, it just beeps 4 times and red light blinks 2 times but wont boot up the pc.

i tried to boot with one ram in first slot and it boots nicely,no problem with that, i have tried all the rams in first slot and pc always boots up, but when i put any of the ram in second slot the pc wont boot(beeps, blinks same) and also dont boot if i try to boot with both the slot populated.

i have tried every thing including cpu changing, removing graphics card etc but it wont boot if ram is in second slot.

i also tried to reset the bios and changing the bios battery but nothing worked.
no bulging capacitors on mobo, no cpu pins bend, every thing is fine with mobo.
pls help me guys, i am very frustrated to the level of throwing the mobo out
and buy a new one.

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS. pls reply fast.

Power spikes and power surges can cause problems with computers. That is why it is suggested that some sort of power filter be used between the wall power socket and the PSU. These filters help protect the computer and minimizes the chances of damage to components due to power spikes and surges.
Reseat the CPU. It is possible some pins are not making (proper)contact with the pads which might lead to memory issues.

Make absolutely certain that there are no bent, damaged, or missing pins on the CPU.

And make there is no dust or debris within the CPU pins and none on/in the CPU socket.

Problems sometimes occur after cleaning computers due to either components being knocked loose, and/or dust or dirt etc becoming lodged in slots. This is the reason for all these checks.

Faulty capacitors do not always show obvious signs of being faulty, such as bugling, split can, discoloration etc.

If it is certain that there is no dust or debris or whatever else in the faulty memory slot, then it seems that the motherboard may be faulty.

one more thing is there that i wanna tell you , before the ram slot stopped working ,the computer had restarded directly without notification after power cuts so many times and for somany days, maybe it caused the issue.
