CrystalDiskMark:

I usually get around 20mb/s when I transfer files within the SSD itself (it runs the OS, I use a 2tb HDD for storing media and other stuff)

Running Win 7 64bit ultimate. I've got AHCI enabled in BIOS.

I've had it for less than 2years.
CrystalDiskInfo:

AS SSD benchmark:

I've made sure that the the cables are connected to a sata 6g port and that its using a 6g cables.

Resource monitor records ~250,000 byte usage (2mb write, 0.5mb read) after this crystal scan finished. (It usually hovers at 2-5mb) so its not like something else is writing as well.

I dont run pagefile as I've got 32gb ram and I've never gone above 10-15gb.

I'm getting higher reads for my HDD on both AS SSD Benchmark and CrystalDiskMark (102mb and 124mb writes with 120mb~ reads respectively) both are using the same type of cables and same sata ports - using asus b85m-g.

What could be the issue? My WEI also records 5.9 rating on the HD (lowest as everything else is 7.8 or 7.9

The SSD is 54% full (as displayed in picture).

I dont mind reformating, should I use PARTED Magic to erase it? Or would you reccomend something else?

And yeah, I mostly use the SSD for gaming and sometimes VMWare, but on occasion when I want to copy something it takes forever (and most times the files are 10-20gb big).
