I tried to use a PC I haven't used for years and it didn't boot so I took out the 1TB WD HDD from it and put it in my other PC.
In explorer only a 2GB FREEDOS folder was visible.
In the partition manager it showed a 25GB OEM pertition too.
Please help,I don't know what to do :(

Hi there 20dka,

How does the drive appear under Disk Management and BIOS? Is the drive recognized as having its full capacity?

Do you need the data stored on the drive? In case you do, you can try to access it with some data recovery tool for DOS mode, when the HDD is attached to the old computer or some OS based data recovery tool if the drive is attached to another system as a secondary one: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html

In case you don't need the data stored on the drive, you can just go to Disk Management and format it. You can even wipe drive drive with the WD's DLG tool writing zeros function. Keep in mind that this is a data destructive process. After that, you can run both short and...

If you want to keep the drive or access it only in new pc

go to start , type in disk management , here you need to assign it a letter , space etc best to format it there too if you don't want to keep the files.

if you want it in old pc, put it back in it and do a repair install using the windows dvd/cd.

Or before trying that use something like EasyBCD to make sure it has correct boot record.

WD's DLG tool: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=niOGHM

Let me know how this goes,

I formatted the drive in Disk Management and haven't used it since.
It wasn't an important drive anyways, but thanks for the help :)
