Im 99% sure the RAM is the issue for my random freezes;
here are the specs:
MSI GTX 950 2GD5
AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad-Core 3.7GHz 4MB
Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB SATA lll
HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz
GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XN-WIFI
First of all surely the motherboard and the RAM sticks are compatable?
What ive found out so far:
-Ran all kinds of diagnostics for the RAM HDD and Currupt files.. all clear
-1 Stick of ram prevents most of the freezes but eventually still freezes.
-on the BIOS i have set all the timings to auto;
-DRAM Voltage 1.5 (Gigabyte bios wont let me alter)
-AMD memory profile is enabled.
-BIOS is showing 1867mhz
this is the weiredest part:
-Sometimes the pc randomly restarts and only 4GB is only shown on the BIOS; Then 8GB after ive restarted the pc.
I will provide any further info if needed.
Any replies would be greatful!
