Recommend me a budget PSU please for GTX 950

the VS PSUs are total CRAP. you want at least a good high quality PSU.
the PSU tier list has a lot of PSUs that are good and highly rated by JohnnyGuru

I recommend Antec Earthwatts or Seasonic S12II (non modular) or an XFX TS 430 or 550. you want to spend 50-60 on a budget PSU even.

if you are on a tightest budget, like under 50$, then tier 3 is okay....
still recommend Antec VP or Green, EVGA 500B/600B (not the non-B ones, the B ones are slightly better)

you cant look at what it gives you. better PSU meaning higher ripple suppressors and better Japanese capacitors, so it provides clean power to your PC, also reducing the risk of an explosion. that's what people that don't understand PSUs don't know. at least get a "tier 3" from the list I provided or even better, one I suggested.

also tell your friend to get a better PSU. that PSU is NOT a good gaming PSU. it perfromas poorly under load.

just for the OP, keep in mind, that if your budget is under 30$ is where you start considering tier 4. you generally do not ever want one for a 950 wither.
