Motherboard Standoffs Question

Whenever I screwed the screws into the standoffs not all of them went fully in. I screwed them until they were snug and stopped a little before over tightening them - so they are actually tight.

The screws went in 95% of the way, some went all the way. Buy when I push on the bottom of the motherboard for example, the motherboard goes back, is it alright to leave it like this? If i try to screw more it feels like I will be over tightening the screws. My system runs fine as I went ahead and built it despite the problem, but just wanted more opinions. Also should the standoffs actually come up through the holes? Or should I be able to look through the holes and see them?

Solution
with the standoffs sometime due to over painting of parts you may have to take the screw out and in a few times to break up a thread or two of extra paint. what you dont want is the center standoffs to be higher then the outside ones by a lot. this will bend the mb into a bad shape over time. on newer cases also be carefull sometime the top center pin is not a screw down pin but used as an alignment pin for the mb. they toss in one standoff that rubber or has a sealed top end. used to keep the mb straight when it in the case. a little mb flex is fine..mb vendor make it so that there mb can bend a bit. not all cases are flush.

As long as your motherboard doesn't fall out i think you're fine lol, there may be some rattle though. There isn't really a fix to this, if the screws don't go in, don't force them, it could just be poor build quality. Also the motherboard standoffs screw into the case as you know, and the MOBO just rests on them, the holes on the standoffs should be lined up with the holes on the MOBO.
