I am having huge issues with Windows Update. I am having to do 30 or less at a time or they fail and the last 30 did serious damage to my PC and I had to make over 10 attempts to repair that damage for my rig to start. ****ing Microsoft. According to my friend, Mr Google there are many, many, many other users having Windows Update Nightmares.

I do have all updates pertaining to DirectX, Visual C and DotNET framework though.

For the rollup Update I need Internet Explorer 11. That browser interferes with some of my programs, causing instability issues. Is there a way to update to IE11, download the Rollup Update, and then revert back to IE8 (I only use IE8 for Netflix as other browsers don't stream higher than 720p, Firefox is my browser for everything else)

Internet Explorer Joke:

Internet Explorer askes you to make it your default browser....
And you have difficulty asking a girl out?!!!!

Chrome can do 1080p 60fps youtube.

But yes, you can update to IE11, and then uninstall the IE11 update and it will go revert back to IE8 or 9.

But you REALLY should not be using the old IE versions, IE itself isn't very secure, and the older ones are even more vulnerable, because microsoft for 1 isn't patching them anymore and their vulnerabilities are known to the people who can get in to them.

Although Chrome can do 1080p for Youtube it can't on Netflix, nor can Firefox. Nexflix states that only Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge (Windows 10 Virus Required) can output 1080p on a Windows PC. And Netflix is the ONLY thing I use IE for. I use firefox for all else as I hate IE and if Netflix gets their **** together and allows other browsers, outside of Microsoft ones to allow higher resolutions than 720p, then IE will be forever banished from my PC.
