Help please.

I have a gigabyte ga-hm61-s2pv and I just updated the bios to accompany a new processor, and when it booted mouse and keyboard didn't work on Windows login screen. So I went into the bios settings to see if I could see what this was. On a video I watch it said windows wouldn't work properly if "on chip sata type was set to ide" which it was, so I changed it to AHCI. My pc booted posted and then cut out. Then it booted and reverted to old bios and cut out, and now it starts and instantly cuts out. Please help!

UPDATE:

So i reset cmos by shorting the 2 pins, and i removed the battery for half an hour. Now it boots once doesn't post, turns itself off and then on, then posts and comes up with the old motherboard boot page (one before bios update), however it won't let me go into the bios options and just goes on to screen that says "Dual Bios" and then turns off boots into the first one again. I have tried all the buttons it recommends when the boot page comes up (ESC/End/Del/F8/F12 etc.) and have tried with usb keyboard in multiple usb slots and an old ps2 style keyboard, however none of these allow me to go into the bios settings.

I think the reason it boots in 2 cycles is because of the dual bios on the motherboard and clearly the second boot (when it does post) is the old bios.

Please can somebody help as I can't use my computer!!!
