strange black spot and liquid mark on motherboards

My brother just bought a mobo recently. It's a brand new MSI b150m Morta. He found a few strange black spot near the soldering hole? (I'm not sure what is it called) and some liquid dry mark on the mobo. Could anyone know what they actually are?

The residue near the screw holes is flux. It is normal and part of the soldering process. I don't know what the white residue is, probably residue from a solvent used in production.
