Right now im trying to build a computer for a friend and she gave me the budget of 500 and told me it could be over by a little... I already have a Hard drive, 2 sticks of RAM, and a 430w power supply, Can anyone recommend parts for me? she mostly plays games like Garry's mod, Guild Wars, she might play GTA or some newer games. I'm open to Intel and AMD but im leaning towards an AMD fx CPU. The only thing i will not use is any type of APU, I am going for a dedicated GPU. Oah, and im not afraid to overclock the system a bit.

What sort of RAM do you have (DDR3 or DDR4?) What brand and model is the power supply? and does she need OS or peripherals?

Right off the bat I can honestly say the FX series of processors would be a poor choice since they're outperformed by a large margin by any Intel offerings.

I have 2 sticks of 8 ddr3 1600mhz Crucial Ballistix, I have a Corsair CX 430 psu that I used to use, only a year old. and I have the OS and im going to buy the Devastator mouse/keyboard combo for now.
