Dead Pixel or something else?

My monitor has this strange black dot just sitting there. I tried cleaning it and massaging it slowly but to no avail. I don't know if its a dead pixel or what, it just wont go away

dead pixel would be my guess but it is hard to tell from the pic. from what i can see it looks like more then one pixel by the shape of the blotch. It is not square (or any other pixel layout shape i have seen). It looks like something damaged the monitor in mulitple and some partial pixels to get that shape.

likely one or more dead pixels. Nothing you can do about it, if it's dead it's dead.

It is a 4k monitor by MonoPrice. Very black and no way to fix it I guess. Shiiiitt....

By the blurriness and irregularity, it looks more like some sort of debris in the panel assembly.

^ possibility. if none of the things i said work and your willing to risk breaking your monitor you could disassemble your panel and try to get it out. but be warned you'll likely break it and it will break any warranty you may or may not have.
