The i5 6600k outperforms the 4690k in every test, and the bonus of better motherboard features.
The Z170 board offers m.2 support, SLI support, ect.
The Ram is a single stick of crucial memory, which will be fine for now. A dual kit stick would be better, I went with the single stick to keep the budget low.
The case is a great budget contender. Keep in mind it is impossible to have the same abilities as a $60-100 case would at this price point. The case is great for its price point, and offers USB 3.0.
As for fans, I left them out. Fans, truthfully, will not improve your temperatures or performance greatly after the first two, which come stock in most cases. LTT performed a test to prove this exact thought, which you can find
here. The H23 has one rear exhaust fan, so this is fine.
Overall the system will give you close to the best performance possible with the GTX 750Ti, and opens room up to upgrades.
