Hi, I was building a computer with a bunch of my friends, plus someone who worked at Memory Express, and I just wanted to know if this build would work and be compatible?

Rosewill THOR V2 Black SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case : 149.99$

ASUS GeForce GTX 980 STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card: 679.99$

Rosewill Photon-750, PHOTON Series 750W Full Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS Gold Certified, Single +12V Rail, Intel 4th Gen ...: 114.99$

Intel Core i7-4790K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I74790K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600: 444.99$

SAMSUNG 850 PRO 2.5" 256GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7KE256BW: 159.99$

G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C11Q-16GSR: 99.99$

WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZRZ: 69.99$

LG Black Blu-ray Disc Drive SATA Model UH12NS30 - OEM: 69.99$

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express Network Adapter: 44.99$

TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 PCI Express Adapter, 2.4 GHz 450 Mbps / 5 GHz 450 Mbps, IEEE 802.1a/b/g/n, WEP ...: 44.99$

MSI B85M-G43 LGA 1150 Intel B85 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX High Performance CF Intel Motherboard: 105.65$

All of these parts can be found on NewEgg.ca, and this is a build for mainly Paradox games, Creative Assembly games, and strategy games in general, and just a bit extra if I feel like playing something more demanding.

Thank You!

Solution
It would work well but the GTX 980, on the basis of performance per dollar, is not a great card. The new GTX 1080 will destroy it and the upcoming GTX 1070 will outperform it also and cost less.

Thank you! I'll have to check out those video cards, I've never heard of those before.
