so i currently have a intel pentium g3258 with dual core and gaming isnt really good for me with this so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on any quad core cpus thats under 150 or any quad core cpus (lga 1150) that can play current gen games (maybe under 200 if there isnt any thats below 150) and can still play current games with high settings? Thanks in advanced.

Games for example black ops 3 fall out 4 and my video card is a gtx 750 ti geforce sc and i know my cpu is holding it back because i was able to to play well with a AMD Athlon ll 645 quad core and gtx 750 ti together on black ops 3 really well like at medium/ high settings but now with the new Intel Pentium i cant play it well barely at low even at pentium g3258 @ 36

I know it's not a quad core, but an i3 is a large improvement over the Pentium. If you can swing it though, go for the i5 4460 because although the i3 handles most games well, it is starting to reach it's limit in some games (eg Rainbow Six Siege, GTA 5 etc).
