Setting up SSD for OS + most played games, and the HDD for everything else. How do I do this?

Hello! A few days ago some of you helped me clean install Windows 10 on my new SSD, and it worked without a hitch! Well, I just plugged my old HDD back in and I am running CCleaner to wipe it and then reformat.

I would like to use my 250gb SSD solely for my operating system, computer programs such as speedfan and ccleaner, and 5-10 games I like to play a lot, while keeping everything else stored on my reformatted 500gb hdd (movies, photos, browsers, spotify, games I do not play often, etc).

What is the best way to go about doing this? The question of how things save on two separate HDD's never occurred to me before completing this upgrade. .

Alright, so when you download say an exe, just drag it to one of the folders you created that direct to the non-ssd hard drive? Then when I run it, will it automatically save everything in that drive?

No.
When you install an application, it asks where you would like to install it. The default is on the C drive. Choose elsewhere.
Select some location on a different drive, if you desire.

For downloading something in your browser, you can specify a default download location in that browser settings.
