Hello guys! First of all I just want to say I'm not much of a computer guy and secondly English is not my native language so I hope this isn't too hard to read.
So, I am using AMD R7 Series wanting an upgrade, a lot of friend told me to upgrade to a Nvidia GTX 970, straight away I went and check the price online and it meets my budget. However I have this question can I upgrade with the current spec? I heard people mentioned about AMD and Nvidia cards have different slots, adaptors or whatever its called does it effect the outcome?
Why I want to upgrade
I use my PC for 3ds Max a lot of time and I also use it for a lot of gaming especially The Division, currently with this build I can only run The Division at Medium Spec with around 35-37fps, and I really want to have better graphics to maximise my gaming experience. Perhaps GTX970 can run it at High with 50-60 fps?
Current Spec
System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4Ghz
Memory:8192 MB
Display
Name: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
Chip Type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6658)
DAC Type: Internal DAC (400MHz)
Approx. Total Memory: 6092 MB
Thanks for the help guys appreciate it!
Dennis
