Should i go for GTX 980 Ti Sli or wait for 1080 Ti?

Hey all, I currently have a 980 Ti GPU. Since the announcement of Pascal GPU's, i'm getting good offers on barely old used 980 Ti's.

Should i go for 980 Ti SLI or wait for the release of 1080 Ti as 1080 doesn't seem to provide that big advantage over 980 Ti?.

1080 is definitely a better bet with 4k. it will be slower than the 980 ti sli, but itll be a little more futureproof. some games already get fairly close to 6gb at 4k resolutions. i think you should give yourself the extra headroom. with three 1440p monitors, i'm looking at 6k resolution so I felt the 8gb was a must have.

Thanks. I'm looking to game in 4K though. Do you think 6gb vram will be enough at least for the near future??
