how to load saved games of dead space 2 after reinstalling dead space 2 for the second time

unfortunately i am stuck in the maintenance vent of chapter 4 where door get locked from behind as well as at the other end... after repeated attempts i failed to pass through...Now i think i have to reinstall the game once again and try but at the same time i am just tired to start the game from the beginning......

Locate the saves for the game, back them up to a new folder. Then After installing the game again , play it till it creates a save, locate this save and replace with the save from the previous install

Reinstall will not resolve that.
Try finding some walkthrough guides.
