Hello guys,

A few weeks ago I opened a topic describing my problem about a random THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER blue screen on my PC. Yesterday it stopped working, and I have no idea what happened.

Here is my config, and a description for you:
Gigabyte H97M-D3H
Intel Core i5-4460
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 TriXX OC 4 Gb (factory OC)
16 Gb Geil Black Dragon CL9 (4x4 Gb, XMP Profile1 for CL9)
Samsung SSD 840EVO 120Gb
Western Digital Black 1Tb HDD
Fractal Design Integra R2 750W PSU
Windows 10 Pro

1. I had random - but more frequent - BSODs with THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER. The Windows Event Log stated Critical - Kernel Power Failure EventID 41. After dumping the memory, it reached 100%, but did not restart, I had to use the reset switch.

2. Yesterday the usual BSOD came, but it did not reach 100% with dumping, it turned off completely at around 30-40%. A few seconds later it turned back on, but won't boot.

3. It started making a clicking sound, so I turned it off, and unplugged the SATA and power cable from the HDD. Still made some strange clicking sounds, without the HDD connected.

4. I started removing my GPU, and resetting the BIOS. Still no boot, but clicking.

5. I removed 3 RAM sticks, and my WD HDD. It booted to Windows. I started to add all my RAM sticks, one by one. It always started and booted to Windows. I plugged back my HDD, won't boot, clicking. (but the clicking is not coming from HDD).

6. Removed my HDD, still clicking. I had to remove 3 sticks of RAM and reset the BIOS again to make it boot.

7. After I made it boot I plugged back all my RAM, and set the XMP profile. RAMs were working fine in CL11 (no XMP), and in 9 (XMP).

8. I plugged in my GPU, clicking is back.

So far, if I plug in my GPU or WD HDD it won't boot. Most of the time it makes that weird clicking sound, but sometimes it just hangs on a black screen, then turns off, back on, hang, turn off etc.

I have no idea what happened, or what failed. Can you please help me?

Thank you very much!

Unplug all case fans then. You need to isolate as many moving parts as possible to find if the clicking is just a bad case fan and has nothing to do with the BSODs

There are no beeps from the MB. The speaker is plugged in but no beeps (I checked if it's working properly, switching on without RAM causes the speaker to go crazy, so it works all right)

Unplug everything in the back, except for power cable and maybe the keyboard, if you need it.
Do you have a spare psu? The psu could make those sounds.
And I would also install a fresh OS on a different hdd and see if it works with that.

I just got my PSU checked, and it seems perfect. Can this a GPU or motherboard failure? Tomorrow I will take the whole computer to the store where I bought it for checking. The service guy said that he thinks it will be MB or GPU, do you think it is possible? (fortunately everything is still under warranty)

You said you removed the GPU and still didn't boot. The MB could be the issue, though difficult for you to check, since I guess you don't have another one laying around. And I don't think the MB could make that kind of sounds.
